The short version. Tetr is an app you buy once. Tetr AI is a service inside it that you pay for in turns. One ask costs the number of turns shown next to the model, a failed ask is refunded automatically, and turns you bought are yours to spend but are not exchanged back for money. Answers come from an AI model and can be wrong; check them before you rely on them.

The app
Tetr is sold on the App Store as a one-time purchase, currently US$3.99 or the local equivalent set by Apple. The app itself is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Everything you write stays in your own storage; you own your notes, and you can stop using Tetr at any time and keep every file it wrote.
Tetr AI and turns
- What it does. You select part of a note and ask; our service sends the selection to an AI model and writes the answer back into your note. The models on offer, and what each costs, are listed in the app under AI Providers and can change.
- Turns. Tetr AI is paid in turns. An ask costs the number of turns shown next to the model, today one turn for every model. If an ask fails on our side or at the model provider, the turn is returned to your wallet automatically. An ask you cancel after it has started may still be charged.
- Free turns. Every new wallet receives a small number of free starter turns, currently 10, so you can try the service. Free turns have no monetary value and we can change or stop granting them at any time.
- Optional. You do not have to use Tetr AI. You can configure your own API key with another provider, use Apple's on-device model, or use Tetr without AI at all.
What is sold, and prices
Turns are sold in packs, credited to the wallet of the device you buy from.

App Store prices are shown in your local currency by Apple before you confirm, and may differ from the US dollar prices above because of Apple's pricing tiers and taxes. On the web top-up page at billing.resonator.am the same packs are sold in Armenian drams (AMD); the exact AMD price of each pack is shown on that page before you pay, and it includes any applicable VAT.
How to pay, and delivery
- In the app. Packs are in-app purchases through Apple. Apple takes the payment under its own terms. Once Apple confirms the purchase, the app sends the receipt to our billing server and the turns appear in your wallet within seconds. If the app cannot reach our server at that moment it keeps the receipt and retries at the next launch; the purchase is never lost.
- On the web. On billing.resonator.am you enter the wallet code shown in the app under AI Providers, choose a pack, and pay by bank card in AMD on Ameriabank's secure payment page. Turns are credited to that wallet code as soon as the bank confirms the payment, normally within a minute, and appear in the app the next time it refreshes the balance. Nothing is shipped; the turns are the delivery.
- Card security. Card details are entered only on the bank's page, protected by the bank and by 3-D Secure where your card issuer supports it. We never receive, see, or store card numbers.
- If turns do not arrive. Write to support with your wallet code and, for web purchases, the order number from the bank's confirmation. We credit the turns, or if the payment cannot be matched to a wallet, refund it.
Refunds
- Turns are a digital service delivered immediately. Once a pack has been credited to your wallet it is not refunded for money, in whole or in part, and turns are not exchanged back for cash.
- Turns spent on an ask that fails are refunded automatically as turns.
- A payment taken by mistake, taken twice, or that we could not credit to any wallet is refunded in full to the card or account it came from.
- App Store purchases are refunded by Apple under Apple's rules, if at all. When Apple refunds or revokes a pack, its turns are removed from the wallet, which can leave the balance below zero until the next purchase.
- Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived.
Your wallet and your devices
- The wallet belongs to the device that created it: it is keyed by a key pair generated on that device and shown to you as a wallet code. There is no account, password, or email behind it.
- Reinstalling the app on the same device keeps the wallet. A new device gets a new wallet unless you turned on "Keep my wallet in iCloud Keychain" on the old one before switching, in which case Apple syncs the key to your other devices.
- If you lose turns after changing or losing a device, write to support with the old and new wallet codes and, for purchases, the receipt. We move the remaining turns by hand. We cannot restore a wallet whose code you no longer know.
- Keep your wallet code to yourself. Anyone who knows it can top it up on the web, and support treats a request that names the code and matching receipts as coming from its owner.
- A wallet is a Resonator wallet: other apps we make that run on the same device can spend from the same balance.
The beta
While Tetr 1.2 is in TestFlight, purchases made in a beta build are sandbox purchases: Apple does not charge you, and our billing server credits them like real ones up to 500 turns per wallet. Turns from sandbox purchases and free grants have no monetary value.
Using the service
- Use Tetr AI only for lawful purposes and not to generate content that is illegal, that harms others, or that violates the usage policies of the model provider, currently Anthropic. We may refuse or limit service to a wallet that abuses it, and we may set fair-use limits on the number of asks.
- Answers are produced by an AI model. They can be wrong, incomplete, or made up. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on, and for what you do with the answers. The service is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a purpose, to the extent the law allows.
- Our liability for the Tetr AI service is limited to the amount you paid for the turns in question, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Models, prices, and packs can change. We can also stop offering Tetr AI. In that case we announce it on this page in advance, and any turns you bought and cannot spend before the service ends are refunded to you.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live. If these terms change, the new version is posted at this address with a new date; the terms in force when you bought a pack apply to that pack.
